Last year I wrote a post about The balm Time balm Concealer; http://www.luuux.com/health-beauty/balm-time-balm-concealer-comparison-bobbi-brown?blog_id=29344 And here is my follow up post to that. At first this worked so well for my under eye circles, so much more than Bobbi Brown. However, now after a while of using it, it's unbearable! It is the Bobbi Brown incident all over again, it started going chalky and settled into my fine lines and looked so obvious, and I hate it when it looks like you are obviously wearing make up. I don't know why it seems to have changed. I am so sad that concealers seem to go rubbish on me after a few months! I used eye creams over night, before use and after use, and it still went dry and chalky! . It started to work OK if I used ELF Corrective Concealer (the pink one), however putting concealer on top of that completely washed me out and made my under eyes look too light and colourless. So even though the concealer worked with the Elf product and didn't dry my skin out, it looked bad. . I had this recommended to me by a few people, and i'm not sure why they raved about it, maybe they hadn't used it that much, and it started off well, but this just does not end well at all. Reading Temptalia's recent hit list on concealers it is rated pretty badly by a lot of people. . Oh well, the search for my HG concealer continues! Any recommendations? :S

TheBalm Bahama Mama
This is a good product, but just not for me! . This is a quite a dark brown and very pigmented, and I am very pale, and although you can buff it down to a lighter colour it just isn't a shade of brown that suits me. This is a medium and buildable shade. . This is very matte, and although I am not a massive fan of the glitter face and so appreciate it has no shimmer, I am also not a fan of mattes due my dry skin, so this really accentuated my dryness. . I can imagine this would be a great staple beauty product for someone who isn't milk bottle white and dry skinned like myself, but for me it is a product that just doesn't suit me or work well for me at all. It's such a shame because I love the packaging and I loved the Hot Mama blush so much!
TheBalm Hot Mama
This is such a beautiful blusher! It is a peachy pink with shimmer, it is very light but also pigmented and buildable. The glitter isn't too much, it's quite sparce which in my opinion is good! Noone wants a glitter ball face! . This is a very fresh colour, and it's nice that it strays away from the normal pink shades and into a more peachy one. This is a lovely flush of colour for spring/summer. I had heard positive things about this, and now I actually have the product I can see why. . The compact is cardboard and comes with a mirror, so it is very practical, but the cardboard will probably get dog eared over time. . The only drawback I have is that it is a little powdery for my dry skin, otherwise it is a gorgeous blush!
