This was one of my first lipglasses from MAC, I was unfamiliar with their pigmentation (or in many cases lack thereof) and so I thought this would be a gorgeous deep shimmery pink. Unfortunately not! It is super super sheer, and although it gives lips a pink tint and shimmer, it is nowhere near the colour it appears in the tube. It is still a cute colour, but very dupable and average. The packaging however is very cute. Got to love the shiny stars and sparkly glasses possums! ;]

Review; MAC Varicose Violet Nail Lacquer

This lacquer was from the "Dame Edna" collection. I like the texture of this, it is a frost, which means it is a little sheer as it isn't as thick as the creme lacquers, however it doesn't stay soft on the nail, and therefore it doesn't get dented. This colour is buildable with a few coats, and the colour is really worth it. The colour is lilac with dark purple/bluish shimmer, so it has a little iridescence to it when the light hits it. It is a lovely purple polish, however I wouldn't say it is a must have. The frost formula means it is a little more bearable then other MAC lacquers.

Review; MAC Royal Tour Trio (LE)
Royal Tour trio (Dame Edna)

Although I don’t normally like the textures (Royal Tour satin, Dame’s Desire frost, Climate Blue velvet) they really worked on my lid, it was really easy to use, and the colours go so well together, however they are different enough to obviously stand out against each other. I much prefer these to mattes but they still have a matte effect. I like this trio more then I thought I would.
