Accessorize Platinum Eyeshadow

accessorize platinum eyeshadow 2
accessorize platinum eyeshadow 1

This is a stunning colour. It is a beautiful silver shade, that appears metallic on the skin. This really made my eye colour pop! I think this is the sort of colour that would suit the majority of people. it does go on lighter then it appears in the packaging though.
.
As with most of the accessorize eyeshadows, it goes on very smooth and pigmented, a little goes a long way. This is a really nice shade, but may be more prone to creasing due to the more metallic nature of the shadow. Easily blended, easily applied and stays on well. I love this shadow!

Accessorize Mermaid Eyeshadow

This is an amazingly rich and pigmented shimmery green shade. A little goes a long way. It is very buttery and soft in texture, and applies very pigmented and softly with very little product! 5 love this colour, it's so pretty and really a staple colour to have in your collection (for those who like a pop of colour). Granted it isn't the most unique colour, but the quality and price make this a good option to go for.
.
This was in a set of 3 and was on sale for £1.99 for the three, which works out at 66p per eyeshadow!! For this quality you really can't lose, I would have paid the RRP of £4 for this as the quality is well worth the price. I will most likely hit pan on this.

Accessorize Iris Eyeshadow

This is the fourth eyeshadow I now have of Accessorize, as after buying a set of three for the insanely cheap price of £1.99 I decided to buy another trio of different colours and this was in it.
.
This is a beautiful shimmery purple shade, and it appears to be a bit silvery as well. It is darker than lilac, but not quite a full purple, it is somewhere in the middle. This goes on so vibrant and pigmented and it applies so softly and blends easily. It also stays on the lids pretty well! This is a very good quality product, for a very good price, you get a good amount of product and it is a gorgeous colour! What more could you want!?!

Accessorize Eye Wardrobe Eyeshadow Palette

accessorize gift set
accessorize eyeshadow palette eye wardrobe 3

I got this in a set with false eyelashes and a lipgloss for £2.39 on sale! So considering whether it was rubbish or not, not much would be lost for that price. Fortunately for me this is a really good palette. This has a selection of shadows which can do neutral eyes, smoky eyes, and colourful eyes. This is also pretty small but has a sturdy case, so with the colour selection it is perfect for travel.
.
In terms of quality, like all the accessorize eyeshadows I have used, they are all really pigmented and smooth to apply, and they last on the lid. This reminds me a lot of a sleek palette, and who thought you could get that quality for cheaper than sleek!?!
.
It comes in a shiny black case, with Accessorize logo on the front. Inside it has 12 colours, all iconic shadows (I don't know the difference between iconic and illusion shadows though). It also comes with a 2 ended sponge applicator, which I find a little obselete, I might get rid of that and put my travel sigma brush in there.
.
Overall, I really love this palette. I think people who like mattes would be disappointed, as the collection only includes shimmers.

Urban Decay Heat Deluxe Eyeshadow

Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow Heat
Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow Heat

This is a red coppery colour, that is very bright and eye-catching.
.
This colour is so pigmented and soft to apply, deluxe is definitely the word, as this is very good quality. The colour is rich as is the formula and texture. It appears very shimmery on the lid, and a little goes a long way.
.
The packaging is really cute, very sturdy and has a useful little mirror in it, so you can pop it in your handbag. Each deluxe eyeshadow has a different picture on the front.
.
I love these eyeshadows, and although the quality is great, this isn't my favourite colour from their collection though

Urban Decay Chronic

Urban Decay Matte Eyeshadow Chronic

This is a light green matte glitter eyeshadow from Urban Decay. I love the colour, but the formula is awful.
.
This is chalky, it isn't that easy to apply and it feels so dry. I just don't like the application or the finish of it. It can look patchy and it just doesn't look that nice on. The glitter also doesn't show through that strong, which is a shame as that could soften the chalkiness.
.
I only paid £3 for it at the Revlon Outlet, I am so glad I didn't pay retail for this.

Urban Decay Purple Haze

Urban Decay Purple Haze

This is a gorgeous purple shade that seems to have some blue iridescence to it. It is a very smooth colour which is very pigmented and easy to apply. This is one of the normal line, not a deluxe one, yet the quality is still great.
.
The problem I did find with this is that somehow I found it hard to get each eyelid even in colour, one eyelid kept going darker than the other, I'm not sure why, I have never had this problem before with an eyeshadow. It also didn't last as long on my lids compared to some MAC and the deluxe shadows do. However, once you even it out it is a gorgeous colour.
.
This really brought out my eye colour and I got a few compliments from it too. I got this for £3 at a Revlon Outlet! Can't lose!

Accessorize Sage Eyeshadow

accessorize sage eyeshadow 3

This is a blackened olive green, with gold shimmer. This is a really beautiful and multi-dimensional shade. This was used without a base, and yet it was so bright on the skin, and it had good staying power. If it really popped on bare skin, I definitely need to try this on a dark primer, to see the vibrancy of the green and gold. I will definitely post a look doing that. . The colour isvibrant, pigmented, soft and buttery, however I did get a lot of fall out with this product. But that is a small price to pay for such a gorgeous colour! This is an illusion eyeshadow, unlike the others which were icon shadows, though I'm not sure what the difference is between them, maybe multidimensional shades are illusion? I really don't know. . The packaging is adorable and very secure and sturdy, the amount you get is great, and the colour itself is gorgeous! This is probably my favourite from the set.

Accessorize Soft Pink Eyeshadow

accessorize soft pink eyeshadow 3

This shade is, in the pan, a light pink, however on the skin it looks more silver with a hint of pink. It is still a gorgeous colour, and still quite nude. It is super frosted hence the colour transformation from pan to lid. This was applied without a base, and it went on super pigmented and soft, so even though it is a light colour, the pay off is still really good. . This is another icon colour, but I am not sure what the difference between the colour types are. . The packaging is cute, the amount you get is great, it is a little clumpy due to the glitter, however overall you can't knock this product for the cheap price!

Accessorize Truffle Eyeshadow

This colour, Truffle, is a mid toned brown with glitter shot through. It goes on the skin a little lighter then it appears in the pan, however it is still very pigmented and very soft to apply. It is very easy to blend, and very soft and buttery on the lids. This would be perfect for using with neutral looks. I didn't use a base and it went on so pigmented with very little product. The only quarrel I have is that it is a little chunky due to the glitter (a little like Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy). Other than that I have no negatives for this product. . This is one of their icon eyeshadows, though I am not sure what the difference is between the different types! . The packaging is so cute and very practical, and you get a lot of product for your buck.

Sleek iDivine Primer Palette

Sleek Primer PaletteSleek Primer Palette

I was a sceptic of this product. I had heard so many raves about it, but so many primers just don't work for me as I have oily lids. Urban Decay Primer Potion doesn't work for me, neither does Too Faced Shadow Insurance as the eyeshadow would always end up slipping into my crease, and the only thing that worked was a MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre as it is matte, but I find that can take the shine out of some shadows. So you can see why I was a sceptic of this product. Important word in that sentence is WAS. I absolutely love this product! . This is easy to apply and get even. It sets really quickly on the lids and it doesn't compramise the colour of the shadow, it actually makes the colour really pop! I was actually speechless when I first applied eyeshadow on top of it, as it made the colour so vibrant and pigmented! . In terms of staying power, it's OK. I mean I have had a little patchiness occur after a fair few hours, but to be fair not that much and not obviously so, and for the amount of time it's stuck around I really can't complain! The eyeshadow is still on my eyelids and hasn't slid off into my crease like it does with the aforementioned (and more expensive) primers. The bases themselves are pretty pigmented, so I guess if you wanted to use them without a shadow on top you could. . In terms of price, this is £6.99, and you get 12 different coloured bases, that is really great value, especially considering the quality. The sheet on top of the eyeshadows that have the names on are mixed up, it has the name "peach" over the green, and a fair few other funny mix ups, but the product itself is good, so that doesn't really matter, who needs to know the names anyway :]

MAC Beautiful Iris

MAC Beautiful Iris

I love this! It is like a more blue based Stars n' Rockets, and is a little like Stila's Charm. . I am a fan of lilac eyeshadows, I think they are so pretty, but this is now my favourite. Before this shadow it was Crazy Cool from the Dare to Wear collection, but this one is so much better. It is less powdery and it is very pigmented which I think is down to it being a veluxe pearl. I didn't even need to use a base for this colour to show up well, in the swatch pic the eyeshadow is just on my bare lid! . Another reason why it is my favourite is that it has a gorgeous blue iridescence to it which looks gorgeous in bright light! I couldn't quite pick up the iridescence on camera for my swatch picture :[ so if you get an opportunity to have a look and a swatch of it instore, then definitely do it!! :D It's beautiful by name and beautiful by nature :] . If you are a fan of pastels, iridescent shades, purples or just light and fresh colours, then this is one you need to have in your collection!

Benefit Creaseless Eyeshadow/Liner "Sippin' & Dippin'"

Benefit Creaseless Shadow/liner Slippin' n Dippin'

I love and hate this product. . I love how it is so soft and pigmented, it is more like a cream shadow, but it sets rather then staying creamy on the lid, so it won't move. And the colour is really pretty, it is a peach with a golden shimmer, which is lovely for spring & summer. It says on forever! It was like welded to my lids, I rubbed my eyes and it didn't come off, which is good, but when I did want to take it off it took a couple of minutes with make-up remover! . The downside it that I found it hard not to go patchy, it was difficult to get a full and even colour on the lid. I also found it looked a little creased, though it stayed on the lid and it didn't slip, but it did look a little creased and uneven. It also set very quickly, so there was very little time to get it right before it dried, and once it set you couldn't blend it or change it without make up remover! . I bought this at an outlet, it was only about £5! So for the price it was a fantastic one, but is it worth the full price? I'm not completely sure it is. Don't get me wrong I like it, but I find it a little difficult to use. If it was easier to apply (didn't go patchy and creased), then this would be 10/10!

MAC Pigment; Fuschia

MAC Fuschia Pigment

This is a super bright and super girly pink! It's like Girl About Town lipstick in eyeshadow form! You need to be into pink and very daring to wear this colour as it is one that will grab attention! This colour will look just as good on anyone with any eye colour or skin tone. This is a lovely colour, not necessarily for everyday wear. I can't really think of a dupe for it, the closest I can think is Sugarpill's Dollipop, however that is more pure pink, whereas this is deeper and has a purple hint to it. But the brightness and pigmentation is around the same, however the texture and colours are not exact.

MAC fuschia pigment

MAC Pigment; Violet

MAC Violet Pigment

This is pretty much what it says on the tin, it's violet! This is a very bright and lovely purple with some iridescence to it. If you are a fan of the purple and don't have this in your collection, shame on you! This is a product you need. For those who would like an eyeshadow dupe, the closest I can think is Urban Decay's Ransom deluxe eyeshadow, since they both are around the same shade, pigmentation and have a similar iridescence.

MAC Violet pigment

MAC Pigment; Golden Lemon

MAC Golden Lemon Pigment

Yellow is one of my favourite colours, so when I saw this at my CCO for £10 instead of £15 I bought it without hesitation. I wanted to love this, but I don't. I find that it is just far too glittery, fall out is inevitable, and I try to avoid the disco ball face! Also the colour didn't go on as vibrant as it appeared in the tub. Sad times! I am so disappointed with this colour, I actually reach for my MAC Style Warriors Bright Future eyeshadow over this pigment, as it is smoother in application and more vibrant in colour!

MAC Golden Lemon Pigment swatch

MAC Pigment; Teal

MAC Teal Pigment

This was my very first pigment that I bought! It is one of my favourites, I love my teals and greens and this is so rich and deep in colour. It really should be a must have for everyone's collections, because it is a lovely pigment. I did this swatch pic a while ago when I was still a bit naff at liquid liner, sad times! I find that it had a lot of fall out as a loose powder, however after I pressed it I found it went on deeper in colour and there was less fall out, so I totally recommend pressing your pigments to get the best use out of them. I am not sure how it works, but I have had better use from this pigment after it was pressed.

MAC Teal pigment

Barry M Dazzle Dusts

barry m glitter dusts

These are available in selected superdrug stores normally for around £4.99. There is a whole load of selection in terms of colours, and the quality for the price is fantastic. The powders are either glittery or shimmery, they are very pigmented, and very smooth to apply. You could compare them to MAC pigments but just in smaller jars, as the colours really do come through strong. These are very good quality, and I would advise them to anyone :]

MAC Love That Look Style Snob Eyeshadow

MAC Love That Look Collection Style Snob

The finish of this eyeshadow is a "starflash" which was a limited edition texture. It isn't as pigmented as a veluxe pearl finish, however it is just as soft. It goes on the lid a whole lot lighter then it appears in the pan. Instead of a medium brown it goes on more taupe. This is a neutral shadow with a bit of glitz. It doesn't show up very much on my lid, so it could only really be used as a neutral eye look, however the bit of glitter in it adds a little shimmer to otherwise a very simple neutral shade. I don't normally like glittery shades, however this is doesn't have all that much fall out and the glitter isn't overbearing. Overall it is subtle, not tremendously pigmented, but has a little bit of a glitz to make it different.

MAC Venomous Villains De-Vil Eyeshadow

MAC Venomous Villains Cruella de-vil

This was a surprise for me, I never expected it to be my favourite shadow from the collection, but it has really wowed me! It is a beautiful and vibrant copper with the great benefits of a veluxe pearl; shimmer, great pigmentation, soft application. I didn't need many applications for this to reach the optimal colour, and it just glided on so easily. It looks more orange in the swatch I provided then it actually is, it looks more copper then orange in real life! This is now one of my favourite eyeshadows, it really warms up my eyes and brings out the blue, plus it was so easy to apply and the pay off is fantastic. It is a really good quality shadow and a diamond of the collection!
